How to Relax During Stressful College Applications!
Among the personal statements, college visits, interviews, and more, it’s easy to tense up and stress out! There are so many to-do’s on your college admissions planner, but there is light in the tunnel. To help you get there, you’ve gotta take some steps to calm your mind and release tension so that you can get into that dream college.
Here’s a short version of our tips to get through that hump:
- Exercise: Yoga or running! Moving your body has immediate effects to help you instantly feel better!
- Take time to BREATHE: Use a timer to help you either focus in on cranking out a personal statement draft or to just sit there and meditate.
- Get more sleep: This might seem impossible, but sneaking in a nap or an extra hour can do wonders for your mental, emotional and physical health.
