About Blair Betts
I truly enjoy exploring colleges with my students and helping them to imagine how their lives will play out in the upcoming years. My mother was a teacher and guidance counselor for 34 years collectively. It was her passion and love for her job that influenced my career path. I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds apply to and gain admission to a large variety of colleges and summer programs. I enjoy witnessing students’ growth throughout the college process as they begin to identify the qualities and characteristics that are important to them in the colleges they apply to. During my free time I enjoy watching documentaries, learning about nutrition, and traveling when I have the opportunity.

I understand how stressful the college admissions process can be for students and their families, but it can be an incredible opportunity for growth depending on how it’s approached. I want students to have confidence in themselves in this process, and to recognize the qualities and characteristics that are important to them when selecting which schools they will ultimately apply to. While I work collaboratively with my students, I will challenge them because it’s important that they take ownership over their college process. At the end of the day, I want my students to feel proud of their accomplishments and to be in the difficult position of having to select from a number of college acceptances.
