DIRECTOR OF COLLEGE ADMISSIONS PROGRAM
Karen has close to 20 years of college admissions counseling experience and is a nationally recognized presenter on college planning. She is also an external application reader for the University of California.
In her current role as Director of UCEazy’s College Admissions Program, Karen Rowe oversees the 11th and 12th grade counseling team. Her work includes hiring new counselors and their professional development. Karen also builds team culture and processes for counselors to leverage each other’s experiences and skills. She has developed customer satisfaction procedures which includes continuous communication with parents and students.
Karen is a distinguished career educator who has worked as a counselor in public and private high schools. During that time, she discovered a passion for working with students and parents to educate them about the college admissions process. She has served as Co-Director of College Counseling at a private school which produced multiple annual acceptances to Ivy Leagues and elite institutions. Karen brings to UCEazy almost two decades of college admissions counseling experience, as well as recognition as a national presenter on college planning. She also works as an external application reader for the University of California.
Currently, Karen is dedicated and energized by her work with UCEazy. She believes UCEazy is the perfect match that fulfills her desire to help families learn about the college admissions process.
Karen received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and a Masters of Education from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. She lives in Truckee, CA with her husband Craig and their dog Ranger. The entire family enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle.
