Kathleen has a unique background in both college admissions counseling and engineering. She has 5+ years working as a college counselor at an elite private high school where she has helped hundreds of students with college admissions. Kathleen also has an engineering degree and 10+ years of experience at a Fortune 100 company.
College admissions is my passion and I love helping students navigate the college process. I also believe in encouraging a student to find a college with a good “fit” for the student. My experience with college admissions is extensive, especially in STEM majors and includes course selection, test preparation, college search, enrichment programs, extracurricular activities, leadership roles, essay writing, resume building, and more. My students have gained admission to many prestigious schools including Princeton, Harvard, MIT, Yale, Brown, UPenn, Johns Hopkins, UCLA, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, NYU, Boston University, Boston College, and Georgetown.
No two students are alike, and I work toward understanding my student’s personal goals using a holistic approach. By getting to know my students I can develop a relationship so that I can help them understand where their personal strengths and interests intersect for the best college outcome.
In my free time, I can be found outside gardening, hiking, paddle boarding or just out for a walk. I love spending time with my family, especially my four children.
