Kristen worked at an elite private high school for 10+ years. With her experience as an External Reader for UCSD Admissions and in the field of medical research, she has a broad understanding of supporting students to think outside of the box. Kristen is UCEazy’s Assistant Director of the Xcellerator Program.
After graduating from college in the Boston area, I worked on the research team at a top ranked hospital as a medical research coordinator. Although I loved my work, I knew I wanted to be a part of supporting young people to become leaders. I got my masters in school counseling and transitioned to a college counselor helping students find their passion, connect that to meaningful activities and guide them towards a career choice that matched their strengths.
I am very perceptive and warm. Students connect with me because I listen and believe that is essential for student growth both academically and personally.
When I am not working with students, I am enjoying my time with my husband and baby girl. Also, as a college level Lacrosse player, I enjoy anything related to competitive sports.
