About Lander Bachert
Lander was born in North Carolina and has since nestled her love for the great outdoors as a professional educator nestled in the mountains of Montana. Voracious reader, laugher and learner. Attended Grand Valley State University for her undergraduate degree and Montana State University for her Master’s in curriculum and instruction. As a classroom teacher, I have the unique experience of having worked successfully and happily with students in four cities, and in grades sixth-twelfth. Thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to work with students from across the country to make the collegiate application process less intimidating and more, “Oh, we’ve got this.”
When not in the classroom, Lander spends her time outdoors with her bloodhound, a book and a big laugh.

Applying to college is an enormity of decisions, but they can be broken down into a series of non-daunting experiences. While my larger focus is providing students with writing assistance, I find that handing the high stress world of collegiate choice with a firm and positive grasp on future goals is the ideal first step in this process.
After a decade in the public school system, I have worked with several universities to better understand the complex world of college and career preparedness, and look forward to helping many other students find their place in the world.
