I have worked with high school students and their families for the past 17 years as a high school counselor. I love being a counselor and I feel it is such a privilege to be able to help guide students in dealing with the nuances of the college applications, scholarship, and financial aid process. I’ve helped many students gain admissions to UC, CSU and private colleges. Aside from being a counselor, I love to cook, run half-marathons, and spend time with my two sons and husband.

It is my passion to help students realize their dream of attending college! As a first generation college student myself, I understand the value of a college education and all that it entails to get students there. My counseling approach focuses on collaboratively working together and establishing good communication from the outset to achieve your goals. Your voice is important and I am committed to helping you every step of the way in the college application process.
“Ms.Yee helped me tremendously when it came to applying for college. She helped me figure out the process and provide me with the best insight for college success. I would not have chosen UC Davis without her. I confided in her and her help, and I am excelling at the university of my dreams!”
– Ariella (former student)
“Through being my counselor, Ms. Yee has been an integral part of my school career. By creating a close relationship with her students, she allows them to feel comfortable going to her for anything they may need. Because of this relationship and being able to feel comfortable going to Ms. Yee, my high school career and my college application process was made a lot easier. Without Ms. Yee my school life would not have been the same and I would not be where I am today.”
– Mason (former student)
“I appreciate my counselor Ms. Yee for completing a recommendation on my behalf to apply for a summer program at MIT. She was the first to submit it way before the deadline. This was a huge relief for me because the application would not be complete without the recommendations.”
Anthony (current student)
“Ms. Yee was my daughter’s counselor in middle school and she is now my son’s counselor at the high school. She has always been attentive to responding to our needs with class scheduling and information regarding grades and transcript questions.”
– Monique (parent of current student)
