About Nicholle Wyatt
Nicholle Wyatt has been a college counselor for over 25 years, working at a selective private high school, and currently at a research-focused, public charter school. A first generation college student, Nicholle attended a small liberal arts college in the Pacific Northwest, where she was also a nationally-ranked handball player. After graduation, she worked as a college admissions representative at her alma mater, before moving to Southern California to earn a master’s degree in school counseling while simultaneously working in the undergraduate admissions office. During her tenure as a high school college counselor, Nicholle has kept her hand in the college admissions field by working as an Admissions Reader for UC San Diego for 12 years and currently for UCLA. She also served on the Board of Directors for the National Catholic College Admissions Association and recently accepted a position on Revolution Prep’s West Coast Advisory Board. She has been a member of the National College Fair Committee for 18 years and the WACAC SLC-San Diego Conference Chair for 3 years.
Since 2017, Nicholle has been the Lead Admissions coach for USC’s Bovard Scholars Program – a 3-week residential program that works with high-achieving, rising seniors from under-resourced schools across the United States. There, she helps match students with top-tier universities, while walking them through the college application process.
In her free time, Nicholle enjoys playing and coaching basketball and softball. Fun fact: she is a HUGE Tottenham Hotspur and Portland Trailblazers fan.

My college advising approach is entirely student-driven: no two students are alike in the college search and application process – even identical twins (which I have worked with!). There are over 3500 colleges and universities in the United States alone, and my goal is to help you find colleges that are a good fit (yes, I purposely used the ‘plural form’, as there is more than 1 college that will be a good match for you). Each student has his or her own unique academic, co-curricular and socio-emotional goals, interests and strengths. My role is help you identify colleges that share those values, while walking you through the college application process from start to finish.
