Shari is an Experienced, holistic focused counselor with extensive work with Bay Area families. Shari has worked for nearly a decade at Monta Vista High School which is the top STEM school in California and also is an External Reader at UC Berkeley Admissions. Currently, Shari serves as the Director of UCEazy College Prep Program.
I have worked with high school students and their families for 14 years and I am totally obsessed with the entire process of student development with college admissions in mind! I spent my first 8 years as a counselor the #1 Math/Science school in California. My position at Monta Vista allowed me to guide students through the college process and earn admissions into the top universities. I spent a few years at an International Baccalaureate high school in the Bay Area building programs to meet the wellness needs of our high stressed students. My love for college admissions and desire to develop the whole child, makes me a great fit for leading our spectacular College Prep Program team.
My approach to college admissions is very simple, helping students reach their highest potential. That being said, I enjoy helping students find the path that is theirs and capitalizing on those natural gifts and talents in the college admissions process.
My family and I make outdoor activities a priority. We love hiking, running, skiing, swimming, riding and everything in between. I have two young children and we love living in the Bay Area.
