Because of the intense competition for top-ranked colleges (either public or private), most families will benefit from enrolling in a professional guidance (counseling) program for college admissions. However, most families are not aware of how college admissions counseling works.
In college admissions, there is a very clear trend away from SAT/ACT scores. University of Chicago, ranked #6, has been test optional for several years. The 9-campus University of California (UC) system has decided to stop considering SAT/ACT altogether.
